How to Set Up ImunifyAV in cPanel?


ImunifyAV is a powerful antivirus solution that helps protect your website from malware and other threats. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Log in to cPanel
    Go to your cPanel login page by opening your web browser. To log in, enter your password and username.
  2. Locate ImunifyAV
    Once logged in, scroll down or use the search bar to find the "ImunifyAV" icon or link. Click on it to open the ImunifyAV interface.
  3. Install ImunifyAV (if needed)
    To complete the installation procedure, click the "Install" button and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Initiate a Scan
    After installation, you can start your first scan. Click on the "Scan" button to begin scanning your website for malware and other threats. The scan may take some time, depending on the size of your website.
  5. Review Scan Results
    Once the scan is complete, ImunifyAV will display the results. You will see a list of any detected threats or issues. Each entry will include details about the type of threat and its location.
  6. Clean Infections
    If ImunifyAV detects any malware or issues, you can clean them automatically. Click on the "Clean" button next to each detected threat to remove it from your website. Follow any
    additional prompts to complete the cleaning process.
  7.  Set Up Regular Scans
    To keep your website secure, set up regular scans. You can schedule automatic scans by going  to the "Settings" or "Scheduled Tasks" section in ImunifyAV. Choose the frequency and time for the scans according to your preference.
