How to Set Up Email Routing in cPanel?


Email routing with cPanel is simple to set up. To change the location to which your emails are
sent, follow these steps:

  1. Log into cPanel
    Go to your cPanel login page by opening your web browser. To access the cPanel dashboard, enter your username and password.
  2. Find the Email Section
    Once you're on the cPanel dashboard, locate the "Email" section.
  3. Select Email Routing
    In the Email section, select the " Email Routing" icon.
  4. Choose your domain
    To set up email routing for several domains, select the desired domain from the drop-down
    option.
  5. Select the Email Routing Option.
    Select one of the following choices.
    1. Automatic Configuration: In this option cPanel will determine the ideal settings for you
    2. Local Mail Exchanger: Use this if your email is stored on the same server as your website.
    3. Remote Mail Exchanger: Use this if your email is housed on another server.
    4. Backup Mail Exchanger: Use this option if you want the server to serve as a backup for your
      emails.

To save your settings, select the appropriate option and click the "Change" or "Save" button. Your email routing is now set up. If you need to alter something later, simply return to
this page and change the options as needed.
