How to Set Up "Database Wizard" in cPanel?

Setting up a database using the Database Wizard in cPanel is simple and user-friendly. Follow this guide step-by-step.

1. Logging into cPanel
   Go into your cPanel account first. Go to yourdomain.com/cpanel and enter your username and password to log in.
2. Locate the Database Wizard
   Once in the cPanel dashboard, locate the "Databases" area and click on "MySQL Database Wizard" icon.
3. Create a Database
   The Database Wizard will guide you through creating a new database. In the first step, you’ll be asked to enter a name for your database. Choose a name that is relevant to your project and click "Next Step."
4. Create a database user
   After you've created the database, the wizard will ask you to create a user who can access it. Enter your username and a strong password. For added protection, make sure your password
   includes a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. Select "Create User."
5.  Grant the User Privileges
   Permissions management is the next stage. The privileges of the user define how they can communicate with the database. The majority of apps need "All Privileges" in order to give the
   user total control. Check the "All Privileges" box, then click "Next Step."
6.  Completion Confirmation
   After assigning privileges, the Database Wizard will confirm that the database and user have been created successfully. You’ll see a summary of the database name, username, and
   privileges. In order to return to the cPanel dashboard, click "Return Home".
7.  Manage Your Database
   To manage your newly created database, return to the "Databases" area of the cPanel dashboard. Here, you can use "phpMyAdmin" to interact directly with your database, run SQL queries,import/export data, and perform other advanced tasks.
8. Backing Up Your Database
   Regular backups are essential to avoid data loss. Go to the "Backup" area in cPanel. After selecting the database you wish to backup, click "Download a MySQL Database Backup". The backup file should be saved to your PC.
