How to set up an E-mail Account in cPanel?

To set up an e-mail account in cpanel ,follow the steps listed below:

  1. Log in to cPanel: Login to your cPanel account login page by opening your web browser. To access the cPanel dashboard, enter your username and password.
  2. Find the Email Section: Once you are in the cPanel dashboard, find the "Email" section & click on "Email Accounts" Option.

  3. Create a New Email Account: Click on the ‘Create’ option on the top right section

  4. Enter Account Details: Fill in the required details:
    Email: Enter the username you want for your email account (such as yourname@yourdomain.com).

  5. Password: Create a strong password and use it for your new email address.

  6. Storage: Set the mailbox size limit if needed. Also, you will come across an option called“Automatically Create Folders for Plus Addressing”, within which there are two options. Automatically Create Folders and Do Not Automatically Create Folders, which you can select as per your requirements.

  7. Create the Account: Click "Create" after entering all the necessary information.

  8. Confirmation: A message stating that your new email account has been successfully created should appear if you have selected the option for receiving the welcome mail.
    You can now set up your new account in your preferred email account (such as Gmail or Outlook) or access it via webmail.
