  3. Understanding Disk Usage

    Scroll down to the "Disk Usage" section to see a detailed breakdown. Click on the plus (+) sign next to a directory to expand it and see the subdirectories and their sizes. This helps you identify which folders are using the most space
  5. Managing Disk Usage
    To free up space, you can delete unnecessary files or move them to your computer. Here’s how:
    1. Deleting Files
      Go to the "File Manager" in the "Files" section.
      Go to the folder containing the files you want to delete.
      Select the files you want to delete.
      Click the "Delete" button at the top.
      Confirm the deletion.
    2. Compressing Files
      In File Manager, select the files or folders you want to compress.
      Click the "Compress" button at the top.
      Choose the compression type (usually ZIP) and click "Compress File(s)."
      This will create a compressed file, saving space.
    3. Moving Files to Your Computer
      In File Manager, select the files you want to move.
      Click the "Download" button at the top.
      Save the files to your computer.
      After downloading, delete the files from the server to free up space.
  6. Regular Maintenance
    To keep your disk usage under control, regularly:
    Delete old or unused files.
    Compress large files or folders.
    Move important files to your computer for storage.
  7. Monitoring Disk Usage
    Check the Disk Usage tool on a regular basis to keep track of your available space.
    Configure email notifications in cPanel to notify you when your disk consumption is high.
